Right now we are a cottage bakery but we do have a stand available depending on the weather. During the season we do anticipate participating in local farmers markets and community events. We are always open for orders and you are always welcome to place those orders. 


We do have the ability to ship. Per Colorado state laws, we are only eligible to ship dry goods within the state of Colorado.

Yes, we offer a selection of low sugar baked goods for customers with dietary restrictions.


We cannot guarantee that our baked goods are nut-free as some items may contain traces of nuts. However, we take precautions to prevent cross-contamination.


The earlier the better, however we ask that we have a minimum notice of 72 hours in advance for small cake orders and no less than a week for large cake orders.

Return and Refund Policy

 At Baked Elegance Bakery, we take great pride in our fresh, high-quality baked goods. Because our products are perishable and often custom-made, the following refund and exchange policy applies.


Quality Assurance

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you experience a quality issue (for example, an item is underbaked or has a structural defect), please contact us within 24 hours of purchase.


To properly evaluate the concern and maintain our quality standards:

  • The original product must be returned to the bakery, and
  • At least 80% of the item must remain intact to be eligible for a refund or exchange.
     

Refunds or exchanges will not be issued for products that have been entirely consumed.


Custom Orders (Cakes & Catering)

Custom orders require specialized ingredients, preparation time, and labor reserved specifically for your event.


Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made no less than 21 days prior to the scheduled event date to qualify for a refund.
  • Cancellations made within 21 days of the event may be subject to a 60% cancellation fee to cover costs already incurred for labor and ingredients.
     

Design & Flavor Acceptance

  • Customers are responsible for inspecting custom orders at the time of pickup or delivery.
  • Once an order leaves our possession, design and flavor are considered accepted.
  • If a significant error is discovered after pickup or delivery (for example, an incorrect filling), please notify us immediately. In such cases, a partial refund or store credit may be considered at management’s discretion.
     

Taste & Personal Preference

Taste is subjective. Refunds are not offered for dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference (for example, sweetness level or flavor preference). However, when possible, we are happy to offer an exchange for an item of equal value to ensure a positive customer experience.


Failure to Pick Up Orders

Orders that are not picked up by closing time on the scheduled pickup date are not eligible for a refund. Fresh baked goods cannot be held overnight for next-day pickup unless prior arrangements have been made.

Failure to pick up an order does not entitle the customer to a refund, and items may be disposed of or offered for sale at the bakery’s discretion.


Delivery Issues

If Baked Elegance Bakery is responsible for delivery-related damage or delays, we will provide a full refund or immediate replacement.

We are not responsible for:

  • Damage that occurs after the product has left our possession
  • Improper handling or storage by the customer
  • Damage during third-party transport
  • Spoilage or melting caused by improper temperature control after delivery
  • Damage caused by guests or third parties
     

While we are not liable for delays or damage caused by acts of nature, we will make reasonable efforts to offer a replacement or store credit when feasible.


Final Determination

Baked Elegance Bakery reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine whether a refund, exchange, store credit, or other resolution is appropriate based on the circumstances of each situation.


Nothing in this policy guarantees a refund or exchange.
